With their victory at Hard Rock Stadium, the Jaguars ended the Dolphins playoff chances once and for all. The last home game for the Miami Dolphins was also my last game of the season. Both bittersweet, but what a year it was.
While I had hoped that it would be an offensive shootout of epic proportions, we were greeted with a defensive game full of sacks and lack of offense. On the bright side this was the first game I photographed this season at Hard Rock Stadium that wasn’t over 85 degrees.
There wasn’t that many highlight’s to photograph, but I did get managed to get yelled at by Dolphins safety, Minkah Fitzpatrick, for taking his picture in defeat. I guess I could understand his frustration seeing how all he knew at Alabama was victory. Him yelling at me ended up being the joke of the photo room. At least we could laugh about it.
I was hoping, to be honest, to be photographing a playoff game this season, but the Jaguars ended the Dolphins season as well as my chances. I can’t wait for next season.
