The saying that every week in the NFL is different is true. The Miami Dolphins vs New York Jets game couldn’t have been the complete opposite of the Dolphins vs. Titans game just two weeks ago. This game had big plays on both sides of the ball, an injury to major player for the Dolphins and not to mention the 14 point come from behind victory the Dolphins had over their hated rivals, the Jets.
There was no shortage of Jets fan at Hard Rock Stadium. There were times it was very loud and very pro Jets chants bellowing out from the stands. It was a really intense atmosphere to be in. It was fun as hell too and I’m sure the fans for both teams enjoyed it.
What I loved about this game was the action. There was plenty of it. Sacks, interceptions, big hits and that was just on the defensive side. Both teams were running and throwing the ball the whole game. I was getting my workout in running up and down the sidelines catching the action.
The momentum of the game changed when the Dolphins quarterback, Jay Cutler, got injured. The crowd was actually cheering for his replacement, Matt Moore and he didn’t disappoint. He help lead the Dolphins to a comeback victory by throwing two touchdowns in the second half.
After spending my entire weekend at Hard Rock Stadium covering the Hurricanes victory over Syracuse and the Dolphins win over the Jets, it will be nice to have a weekend to myself as both teams play away games this week.
