I was recently contacted by the photography manager from Golfsmith to photograph their Golfsmith in Pembroke Pines grand opening. It was a pretty sweet gig actually. They provided me with a well detailed shot list and the best part it was only a 2 minute drive from house. Talk about convenience.
I showed up to the Golfsmith location early in the morning and took some exterior shots and then I made my way inside. Since the store wasn’t going to open for another hour, I had the whole store to myself. I was able to photograph a lot of the layout of the store as well as displays and products.
The store was lit fairly bright so any flash I had to use was merely just some fill flash. It was a pretty straight forward shoot which are always the best. Nothing like having little to no complications or unexpected situations arise.
Once the doors opened I was able to grab photos of customers interacting with employees and partaking in a lot of the in store events that were going on. Had I not been photographing I would been definitely trying to win one of the new drivers they were giving away during their putting contests.
